Cash App maintained a strong presence with downloads peaking at 358K in the week of September 28 and ending the quarter on a high note with 285K downloads in the final week. Weekly active users started at 5.8M and reached nearly 6M by the end of December, depicting a consistent user engagement throughout the quarter.
Venmo also showcased a steady performance. The app saw its downloads fluctuate, beginning with 187K in late September and closing the quarter with 176K downloads. Active users saw a decline from 6.4M to around 5.3M, which still indicates a strong user base.
Zelle, a service offered by Early Warning Services, LLC, had downloads ranging from 84K to 107K during the quarter. Weekly active users hovered around the 400K mark, suggesting a solid core of regular users.
